Under the programme, A meritorious girl will receive Rs. 3,000 in the form of a guaranteed investment for herself, which she may withdraw with interest when she turns 18 and has completed her 10th-grade test.

  • Ladli Laxmi Yojana Of Madhya Pradesh

The "Ladli Laxmi Yojana" of the Madhya Pradesh state government intends to enhance the health and educational condition of girls in the region. By establishing in people a positive attitude regarding girl puberty and discouraging juvenile marriages, it seeks to deter female foeticide. Following beneficiary selection and approval, National Savings Certificates worth Rs. 6000 are regularly purchased in the beneficiary's name for five years. The beneficiary obtains Rs. 2000 at entering the sixth grade, and Rs. 4000 upon entering the ninth grade, and the outstanding amount is billed as a lump payment till the beneficiary turns 21 and takes the 12th-grade examination. 

  • Karnataka Bhagyashree Scheme

The Bhagyashree Scheme, run by the Karnataka government, promotes female birth among low-income households. The state of Karnataka provides financial assistance to female kids in the form of health insurance coverage up to a maximum of Rs. 25,000 per year and a yearly tuition of Rs. 300 to Rs. 1000 up to grade ten.
